Sheri Absher, Executive Director
I am a proud graduate of Washington State University- Go Cougs! With over 30+ years of experience in childcare and a passion for early education, I’ve continued to enhance my skills through continued education. I have lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for most of my life with my husband, where we raised two wonderful children who both graduated from Mount Si.
I believe that children are strong, capable learners worthy of unconditional love, trust and support. This is based on the belief that children learn by doing. I value hands on learning experiences because I believe children learn about themselves as well as the world around them through investigation and discovery. My deep commitment to our community and the children we care for is at the heart of everything I do, and I truly love my work.
Kaitlyn Absher, Assistant Director
As the Assistant Director at Imagination Station Early Learning Center, I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young children. I bring both professional expertise and personal experience as a parent to my role. I cherish outdoor activities with my two young children and enjoy exploring local parks, and community events. Having grown up in the valley and traveled to multiple countries, I feel blessed to blend my local roots with global experiences in hopes of contributing meaningful knowledge to my work.
This position involves direct interaction with children, parents, and educators, emphasizing the development of strong relationships. With a focus on creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere, I plan to contribute to the center’s mission of inspiring young minds and laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning. My goal is to build meaningful connections with the families I work with and leave a lasting positive impact on their lives.
